Music For The Soul

The concert was great! There were a few moments of discomfort. Moving in a large crowd was scary. The ride there was difficult as the van was full and that made me nervous. It was totally worth the discomfort though. The music was great. One of the girls in the group adopted me as her buddy. I was never alone but not overcrowded. It was amazing!

Today I went with my neighbors to a church in a neighboring village. This was probably more difficult than the concert because the church was small. When there is a large group of people, blending in is a possibility. When there are only fifteen people in the room, the challenge becomes fitting in. Once again, a sweet girl adopted me as her own. I survived the service. Afterwards we ate at a restaurant. It had the neatest atmosphere, and the food was worth the money. I splurged and got a coffee with whipped cream and a pizza. The coffee was espresso and the best cup I have had in Moldova. The pizza was fantastic with hot peppers bringing it to life. Of course, I only at two pieces of the pizza and saved the rest for the next couple of days.

I am not perfect and not every situation will turn out as good as these. At this moment, I am proud of myself for relaxing and having a good time. If people don’t like me or how I behave that is their choice. I want to live life. That is going to mean leaving the house every so often. I am proud of myself for splurging but doing so within reason. I am proud of myself because I had a good time for the first time in ages. Hoping this trend lasts.

Thanks to all of you for the well-wishes and the kind comments. Love all my readers. πŸ™‚ Cheers!
