We all have different tools we use to help us relax. Some of us run, practice yoga, meditate, read, cook… the list goes on. In the last few months, a new form of relaxation has become a favorite of mine. It is a little different and may not work for everyone. It is ASMR.
ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response. Generally, this response is a tingling feeling that starts in the head and may move through out the body. It is caused by “triggers”. Triggers can be visual or auditory. Everyone has different triggers. I prefer whispering or clicking noises. Others may prefer role plays or listening to someone eating. ASMR does not work for everyone. The only way to know is try.

The best way to view these videos is while using ear buds. I find these videos helpful when it is time to fall asleep or if I am stressed in general. Just wanted to share in case ASMR could be helpful for anyone else. Cheers!
